Chinese Chicken Momos at Kolkata

During my visit to Kolkata in December 2014, I had a chance to experience the awesome “Momos”. Hot chicken momos were served by the ever smiling Chinese women. I visited their stall again the next day.

  1. My first experience of moms was way back in 2002 in Manali. Priced at 20 INR for five delicious steamed momos! They remain a hot favourite with my mum and me. We still eat them in Chinese restaurants here and they are called ‘dim sums’ but they can never really match up to the ones from Manali.

  2. I love “dim sums” too! I had momos in Chinese restaurants (not sure they were as good as the one you had with the smily woman). I call them Chinese raviolis (because of the shape reminding me of this particular kind of Italian pastas). I really enjoy your food pictures and now I am hungry lol!
