Agrasen Ki Baoli, Delhi

Agrasen Ki Baoli (Agrasen’s stepwell) is a protected monument located close to Jantar Mantar.  Even though entry is free, it is one of the least visited monuments in Delhi. Thanks to the low interest by humans, a large number of pigeons have made it their home. The stepwell has 103 steps. The water has dried out as you can see from the images.

This monument has recently grabbed public attention due to the huge success of the movie PK. In the movie, this monument is the residence of the protagonist.

  1. From your photos I’m not surprised that it’s thought to be haunted. I think you capture that in your photographs and that’s what makes them so interesting and beautiful.

    1. Thanks for the visit Bartian 🙂

This Baoli is located near Jantar Mantar. I the guess the one you are talking about is Rajon Ki Baoli at Mehrauli neighborhood which is close near the Qutub Minar

The opening scene of this song from PK is shot here 🙂
