February 22nd, 2014: It was getting dark when I reached the Hazratbal Shrine after visiting the famous Mughal gardens of Kashmir. Located on the banks of the Dal Lake, this shrine contains Moi-e-Muqqadas, a holy relic of Prophet Muhammad. Hazratbal is the holiest shrine for Muslims of Kashmir valley. Entry to visitors was restricted as the sunset prayer, Salat al-Maghhrib was going on.
