In pictures: A misty morning in Manipur | Northeast India

On my second day in Manipur me and my friend Bashan started our long journey towards India-Myanmar border at Moreh. The morning was cold and misty; Bashan found it difficult to drive at some stretches as the visibility was reduced due to mist. But finally when we reached Moreh the day turned out to be hot and humid. Enjoy these pictures taken en route the international border.

  1. Wow, look at the mist! That surely made driving more difficult, but on the other hand it made the landscape look magical. Your posts on the northeastern states of India really make me want to travel there the next time I visit the country. Btw I immensely enjoyed your post on Unakoti.

  2. Thank you for reading my poem. I am from northeast, in love with south India; it’s good to see someone from south India taking an interest in northeast India. Keep writing! Would love to follow your writings.
