A trip of goats (and sheep) | Manali-Leh bus journey, August 2013

Would you believe that our bus had to stop and give way for these fellows? Their marching reminded me of the rallies of political as well as apolitical parties of India 😉

Nevertheless, this was a peaceful show of strength for a handful of issues ranging from increase in winter allowance to much complicated demand for exclusive grazing zones in Himalayas 😀

  1. I live in Jakarta, a city with one of the worst traffic in the world, if not THE worst. But I always enjoy it whenever the vehicle I’m taking while traveling has to stop to wait for sheep, cows, and even ducks to cross the road. Such a delight for the eyes. 🙂
