King’s Guards at Grand Palace | Bangkok, Thailand

King’s Guards responsibility is to protect Thailand’s royal family. King Rama V  established this unit in 1859 and it is part of the Royal Thai Armed Forces. January 18, the day on which King Sanphet II won the battle against Burma in 1593,  is celebrated as Royal Thai Armed Forces Day. Photos taken at Grand Palace, Bangkok
